Symposium the Clinical Utility of Bacteriaphages

Location: Utrecht, the Netherlands

UMC Utrecht holds a one day symposium on the Clinical Utility of Bacteriaphages at the Paushuize in Utrecht.

It is intended for medical doctors and clinical scientists with an interest in the topic of bacteriophage therapy. Bacteriaphages were once presented as the logical solution to the global crisis in antibiotic resistance, however, the approach has led to numerous questions from patients and physicians.  At the symposium, international experts in bacteriophage therapy are invited to discuss their experiences. The aim is to get more insights to carefully design the clinical trials that are still necessary to firmly establish the clinical benefits of phage therapy.

More information on the symposium and registration, can be found here.
